Wisconsin Lions
District 27-B1 District Convention

 DISTRICT 27-B1 LIONS
 34th Annual Convention
 NOVEMBER 13 & 14, 2009   CITY CENTER - OSHKOSH

Lions, Lioness and Leos of 27-B1 and friends of B1 held the 34th Annual Convention of District 27-B1 at the City Center Hotel in Oshkosh.

Our International Guest was PID Ross Thorfinnson, Jr. from Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

The traditional Friday night Fish buffet started out the convention followed by the Friday night hospitality. This year’s theme was “Friday the 13th – FRIGHT NIGHT” and many scary costumes were donned. There was also a chance to display your bowling skills as we had 4 Wii games set up for your enjoyment and to raise some funds for Lions projects.

Every club was asked to bring a gift to be included in our successful “Bucket Raffle.” This year we received $1,000.

Saturday began with free coffee, juice, rolls and fruit for registered attendees. The opening business session began at 8:30 a.m.

Outstanding seminars were held after lunch.
